The Pembroke Herring Fisheries Commission invites you to an early morning tour of the Pembroke Herring Run.
The bus will leave from the Pembroke Public Library at 142 Center St. and will return to the same location in time
for the start of the River Herring Network annual meeting at 10:30AM.
Local historian Kyle Harney will narrate the tour. Points of interest will be the Pembroke Herring Run Park, North River
and the Historic Bridge, Pembroke/Hanover Herring Run Falls, and Oldham & Furnace Ponds where the river herring
spawn. Narration will focus on historical information about the river and the fish that migrate along it.
